Final reminders on Narrative Essay. 1. Check the "No excuse error" list on google classroom. If there are three errors, I will stop grading and return the paper. 10% grade reduction for each day "late" (rather than the class policy of 20%) 2. A paper copy must be submitted to Mrs. Benioff by 2 pm on the due date. (Wednesday 10/30) 3. The essay must be submitted to turnitin.com by 2 pm on the due date. 4. 20% reduction for each day late.
Due 10/29 - Bring a paper copy of your essay to class. The final essay is due on Wednesday. Thursday will be a quiz on complete sentences, fragments and runon sentences.
Due 10/25 - Bring to class a paper copy of the completed draft (Step 5 included) The final essay will be due on Wednesday, October 30. The rubric is the Common Core ELA rubric for grades 9 and 10 for narratives. This is a 50 point assignment.
